PS...PRO MATTIFYING PRIMER REVIEW

Sometimes in order to have the best looking face, you have to spend quite a bit of money, of which I have been doing by buying mostly high-end products. As I am about to start my first graduate job, however, this doesn't help my bank account balance.
I'm all about that Base! I rarely experiment with colour pop lipsticks or eyeshadows, my thing is the look of healthy, perfect skin where the light kisses it just at the right places and the contouring of the cheekbones (and maybe the nose) is not too harsh. I realised that with oily skin, it is mportant to apply primer before the foundation in order to keep my skin looking not too oily during the day or on a night out. Personally, I think there is an extremely fine line between skin that looks oily and skin that looks dewy.

Up until a few months ago, I never really used to wear primer, my skin would get oily and the foundation would wear off after a few hours. Starting my YouTube channel, however, reignited a new found love of experimenting with makeup that I had never experienced before and my makeup bag has grown from a tiny zip pouch with foundation, eyeliner and lipgloss to draws bursting with exciting and lovely products to try.

Since I had read many good reviews on the Primark's PS...PRO skincare range, I decided to buy the PS...PRO mattifying primer, yesterday while I was in Primark. It cost €7, which was half the price of many high end primers in most stores, so I thought why not! This morning, before applying my foundation, I applied a small pump on my index finger before rubbing between my palms and smoothing it over my face. I applied my MAC Pro longwear  foundation straightafter and was very impressed with how the foundation spreaded evenly on my face. It didn't look patchy, which I liked. Throughout the day, I noticed that my skin was not as oily as it would have been if I had only applied the foundation without a primer.  This product provided me with what I needed for just half the price, which is great! Although I do see myself trying out other primers that my friends have recommended in future, I find that the PS...PRO Matifying Primer is a great primer, considering that it is only half the price of many high end primers and it keeps my skin less oily throughout the day.
