The highlights of the Clarins Spring Collection are:
- The Clarins Facial Contouring Palette €45 is the central piece of the Contouring Perfection range. It consists of three shades of face powder: a light colored powder to highlight and accentuate, dark powder to shade and shape, and a fresh toned blush to create a healthy glow. Each powder is formulated with almond oil, antioxidant extracts of white tea and lapsana that keep skin protected from free radicals and urban pollution. The palette also includes a specially designed shaping brush which fully conforms to facial features.
- Clarins 4-Color All-in-One Pen €30 was inspired by the famous multicolored ballpoint pens of our childhood. This pen features four different shades, which can be used for both lips and eyes. The colors are saturated with jojoba ans sunflower oil.
- Clarins Ombre Iridescent Eyeshadow €22.50 consists of three new shades; Silver white (a shimmering pearly white), Silver rose (a soft pink tone) and Silver gray (a silvery dark gray). The Silver Rose in particular is very flattering on both the eyes and cheekbones. It has a mousse/powder texture that instantly melts on the skin leaving a subtle shimmer combined with a long-lasting wear.
- Clarins 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palette €43 includes three shades of gray, and a light-colored pearlescent highlighting shade. The shadows can be used dry, for a subtle wash of color, or applied wet for a more intense look.
- Finally, Clarins Joli Rouge Brilliant €24 includes three shades; Soft Plum (plum), Pink Fuchsia (hot pink) and Tender Nude (beige nude). Each of these lipsticks provides moisture and enhances lips with a subtle shine and sheer finish. The lipsticks are also formulated with salicornia oil and mango extracts.
Overall, the event was lovely and I was happy to try out some of the makeup from the new collection.
