AC HOTEL BRESCIA: HOTEL REVIEW

AC Hotel Brescia is located in the city of Brescia, the Lioness of Italy. It is about 8 minutes walk to Freccia Rossa Mall Center. AC Hotel Brescia is a short distance from the city centre and the railway station. The hotel has a fitness centre, free external parking and a contemporary Lounge. The hotel is also just a few meters from new Shopping Center, ELNÒS.


Arrival
The entrance is really elegant and the check-in was quick. I presented my passport for registration and was asked if I was 'Miss Adeleke' to which of course I said 'Yes'. I was handed the keycard to the room and took the lift/elevator to the fifth floor.

Wifi
Wifi was free of charge and I was presented with the login details along with the key card upon arrival, which was pretty straightforward.

Lounge
There is a lovely lounge on the ground floor which was very quiet. I saw guests reading books and working on their laptops/tablets and I thought, 'how nice'.





The Bedroom
I had seen pictures of the rooms, and knew that each room looked similar, so I knew what to expect. I really liked the view from the room, the design and decor. I also liked the black electric sockets and switches next to the bed. There was a television with several channels, a sitting area with a table right next to the window, as well as a working desk with appropriate lighting. The room also had a fridge and safe.



   

- The bed
The bed was comfortable, but I must say that I did not like the fact that they put two single beds together to make a double bed. I often found myself in the middle while I slept and I usually had to get back up again to move to one side of the bed. I also did not like the pillows as I felt they were too small and flat. The linen was lovely and so was the mattress.


- Closet /Wardrobe
There was a wardrobe in the room with floor length mirrors on both sides.

- Phone chargers
There were plugs next to each side of the bed as you can see from the pictures above.

- Bathrobes and slippers
There were none provided.

- Coffee and Tea
As a coffee lover, I wasn't too pleased to hear that none of the rooms had kettles, however, I would order coffee with most of my meals at restaurants.

Bathroom
The bathroom was very clean and nice. It had a main room with a glass sink, large bathtub, a toilet and bidet.
                               
         

           
- Amenity kit
There was a comb and shower cap, which I liked.


- Toiletries
There was a shower gel, bath gel and body lotion - which I did not use as I had mine.


- Hairdryer
The hairdryer looked modern and was placed in the bathroom next to the sink. I did not use it as I prefer to air-dry my hair.

Breakfast/ Room Service
It was quite late when I arrived in Brescia so I decided to order from the room service menu. Within minutes they delivered some lasagne and icecream and bread to the room. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. I did not try the breakfast as I mostly went to the supermarket and explored the city as often as I could.
   

Cost
Rooms cost from 114 EUR per night.

THE VERDICT
I loved this hotel stay at AC Hotel Brescia.  The attentive staff, sumptuous surroundings and fantastic location made made my trip to Italy a memorable one. Thank you so much to all the staff involved in my stay.

Perfect for: Luxurious city breaks to Milan, Bergamo, Verona and  Lago de Garda.. (The train station is 15-minutes' walk away from the hotel)
