Layering over a black vest kept me content whilst giving the whole outfit a dressing down look with an old pair of skinny jeans and platform boots. The black skinny jeans are very comfortable and seem to go with almost every blouse in my wardrobe. This pair have travelled the world with me - from flights to Nigeria to being knee deep in the snow in Berlin. They cost me €20 and I’ve loved them as if they were €100.
On my feet, we have the Platform Boots which I bought at New Look last winter. They are so comfortable, I wore them for hours while exploring Berlin a few months ago. Also as many of you know, it rains a lot here in Ireland. The platforms keep my feet away from the wet ground and the suede not only keeps me warm but it also does not absorb the water. What's not to love!
One thing I love about denim jackets is that in warmer weather, you can simply drape it over your shoulders, while wearing a dress or blouse underneath. In the transitional weather, you can wear it on top of a tank top as I have in this picture or any T-shirt and still look stylish. I remember wearing the same jacket over a turtleneck sweater last winter and will probably re-create the look when the weather gets much colder, when I'm not wearing the faux fur jacket I also love to wear in the winter... but I'll save that post for another day.
