Classic
blue jeans will always remain a yearlong style staple, so it’s important
to find ones that do your body some good. It is important to remember
that there is no perfect body type and each shape has its own styling
advantages. The key is to show off our best assets and divert the
attention from areas of insecurity. As women it’s vital to love our
bodies and part of that process is knowing how to properly style your
individual body type.

We have all been on that treasure hunt for the perfect pair of jeans at some point in our lives. It’s a process that takes diligence, effort and
endurance. We've all been
there, when we go to the fitting room and the pants won't go over our
thighs or the pants are too low rise and we either have to wear a belt or a long top in order to ensure we don't end up exposing too much when we sit down... if you know what I mean. Finding the right pair of jeans that make me want to wear them almost everyday and feel comfortable in, has definitely not been easy. I like to try on clothes before buying them and I can assure you I have
tried on many pairs of jeans and have looked anything but on trend, too
many times. Needless to say it was not smooth sailing.
With my final exams over and the start of the end of the season sales, I decided it was time to find the perfect pair of high-waisted jeans. I found myself heading to the 'Savida' section in Dunnes and it all went swimmingly from there. I tried on a pair of jeans in my size and was very happy to see that it was the style I had been looking for. The waist was high, flattering and comfortable. The shape was also flattering and slimming on my legs, while the fabrics were stretchy, lightweight and breathable. I also love its contoured waist and stretchy material as it gives me a little more room in the hips and rear.

Minimal accessories, my favorite crop top which I bought during the end of season sales at Debenhams and my black pair of heels from Zara, make for the finishing touches to this new pair of denim that I had fallen head over heels for. At the end of the day, try on a lot of different styles and
see what you feel the most comfortable in. Personally, I adore light
denim skinny jeans. It took me a little while to figure out that this
color and cut is my go-to. Now that I know what works for me, I can
confidently shop for denim without hesitation.
